About Joel Ellett
Joel's music is grounded in the country sound he knows best — honest lyrics, memorable melodies, powerful ballads, and the energetic honky-tonk music that defined one of country music's greatest eras. His natural ability to connect with an audience makes every performance feel personal, whether he is singing to an intimate theater crowd or commanding the stage at a major fair, festival, casino, or corporate event.
As the lead vocalist and frontman of Eldorado, Joel does more than sing the songs. He guides the audience through a complete live experience, combining music, personality, humor, and stories that celebrate the artists and songs that helped shape country music.
Joel's years of live performance experience, authentic country vocals, and comfortable stage presence make him the unmistakable center of the show. Backed by the veteran Nashville musicians of Eldorado, he delivers a polished, high-energy performance that feels both familiar and fresh.
Personal Life
Away from the stage, Joel Ellett is very much a family man with deep country roots. He met his wife, Beth, at 28, and the two married a year later before making the move to Nashville together to begin the next chapter of their lives. Today, they make their home in Lebanon, Tennessee, and are the proud parents of two grown children, ages 25 and 30, and grandparents to one grandchild. When Joel isn’t performing or working on music, you’ll often find him enjoying life on their five-acre mini farm. An avid horseman and beekeeper, Joel has a genuine love for the outdoors and especially enjoys camping with Beth and their horses, riding trails and spending time at horse campgrounds. He also has a strong passion for helping people in need, particularly the homeless. For Joel, family, horses, country living, helping others, and taking care of the little piece of Tennessee he and Beth call home are every bit as important as the music he takes to the stage.
From Illinois to Nashville
Raised in a small Illinois town, Joel Ellett began performing at age fifteen and developed his sound in the bars, clubs, and honky-tonks of the Midwest. At twenty-nine, he moved to the Nashville area to pursue his place in country music and has continued performing, recording, and entertaining audiences ever since.
